Other People’s Kids is hosting a fundraising concert, “That’s What Friends are For” in honor of our founder, Harvey M. Chiles’ 70th Birthday. The concert is dedicated to Harvey’s late grandfather, Fred Roeder, a farmer and entrepreneur.

Multiple singers and musicians, all friends and colleagues of Harvey, will be performing at the concert. It will be a show to be remembered! You won’t want to miss it!!

  • Open to the public – all are welcome!
  • While there is no cost to attend, we do ask that you make a donation to Ujima to help continue their work, or to Other People’s Kids, so that we can support children’s education through the arts, and help support other programs like Ujima.

Proceeds of the concert will benefit Ujima, a not-for-profit organization in St. Louis. Ujima supports mutual aid efforts across the Greater St. Louis Area including: A Red Circle, Solidarity Economy, and Growing Food – Growing People. They also provide produce, herbs, and flowers to local farmers markets and businesses.
